Just made this pin using vintage polka dot fabric and a vintage pin that was a button cover in its previous life. It's going up for sale in my Etsy shop!
Thank you too, Kumi! I started out making these with my husband's old silk ties but it ended up awful looking, so chucked it in a corner somewhere. I went through my vintage fabric stash and found that this stiff, canvas-like cotton along with the lightweight cotton worked much better. Now in the process of making felt and vintage fabric, appliqued with embroidery thread small pouches. I'm such a new hand at all this, hope my stuff sells. I'm sewing everything by hand (so slow) and can hardly wait to get my sewing machine so's I can make bags using your cute fabric!
